Wine Appreciation Society

On the Second Monday of every month, we pick a different wine region and taste a number of wines from that region. Nibbles, education and great wine - what’s not to like for only £20. Booking is essential.

 

August's region covers Chile, so expect some fabulous new world takes on old world grapes. Hosted by the ever knowledgeable Ed from Bibendum wine merchants and our very own Chris (font of bizarre facts and statistics).

This south London based big band have a vast repertoire including arrangements of the music of Count Basie, Glen Miller, Duke Ellington, Artie Shaw and Buddy Rich etc. It has plenty of contempory music too arranged for a big band, such as Wonderwall, Eye of the tiger, Bubles Cry me a river, a Medly of Donna Summer hits, Stevie Wonder, the list goes on.
